GORING

Goring-by-Sea, often simply called Goring, is a peaceful coastal neighbourhood in Worthing, West Sussex. It lies about 2.5 miles west of Worthing town centre and has been part of the borough since 1929.

The area is best known for its wide, shingle beach, which is popular for paddleboarding, kite surfing, and relaxed seaside strolls. The beach is backed by greensward and beach huts, and it’s less commercialised than neighbouring Worthing or Brighton, making it a favourite for those seeking a quieter coastal experience.
