Poppies

Poppies have become a powerful symbol of remembrance, honouring those who lost their lives in war. One of the most moving tributes was the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation at the Tower of London in 2014, where 888,246 handmade ceramic poppies filled the Tower’s moat, each representing a British or colonial serviceman killed in the First World War. The striking sea of red created a place for reflection and remembrance, leaving a lasting impression on millions of visitors.
